This is a typical Chinese restaurant that you would go to for dim sum and family dinners. I came here around 9:00pm on a Sunday night. We were seated right away.We ordered 5 dishes for 4 people and it was more than enough. I really liked the fried calamari and mapo tofu. Don't try to use chopsticks to get the tofu unless you are a chopstick master. I dropped some on the table thinking I had the chopsticks skills to achieve this difficult task! They were quick on serving our tea and food. They had a few downfalls that mademe hesitant to give them a 4 star review. They were inconsistent with the desserts. They usually have complimentary dessert, and you get to choose either mango pudding or sweet soup. The servers were busy moving tables around and vacuuming the restaurant and it just made me feel uneasy eating in such a loud environment. Also they handed us the check when we didn't even ask for it as if they wanted us to leave. They could have nicely walked up and asked if we needed anything else because their kitchen is going to close soon and if we were smart enough to get the hint, maybe we would ask for the check.Overall, it was not bad. Just try not to go when it's near closing time, because it wasn't like that when I went there before.

Seriously, really good dim sum. Long wait for the weekend though, so try to come early.I love love love the shrimp dumplings here. Usually they either don't put enough shrimp or put it a butt load of bamboo shoots to mask the fact that they didn't put enough shrimp in the dish. Here, it's not the case. Also, the shark fin dumplings are really good. I wasn't expecting it !The food was really good and it was well worth the wait ! The staff are all dressed up in black suits and they refill your drinks immediately, so the service was pretty awesome compared to other dim sum places. It's a little more expensive, but that's probably because the dim sum was so good. The only reason why there's a star missing is because ordering is a pain. They missed a couple of our orders. Good thing we ordered quite a bit that we didn't need those last two orders.

I used to go to this place but I don't anymore for the following reasons:1) Price is high compared to the competitions, which I don't mind for superior quality.2) However, ordering food here is like playing the roulette. For dim sum, there are good items, there are so so items, and there are plainly bad items. For diner service, food is inconsistent. When there is a banquet, food quality drops significantly.3) Apparently there are people who think that it is a great place. So, I need to wait in line then be crowded inside the restaurant.Yin Yang is not in balance, the universe is collapsing.I'll direct my Qi to harmonize with the environment somewhere else.

This is a Dim Sum restaurant I usually avoid these but this was a invitation by Mary Sue who is Mayor of Walnut and is running for another term.Majority of the crowd was Asian including me . Congressman Ed-Royce was there and was patiently meeting with everyone. My wife and I told him that minorities were being treated poorly in Pakistan he said he will take this up with the state department. The restaurant is huge and a army of servers dressed up in suites walk around. There were more then twenty large tables with 12 people on every table.Lot of singing was going on.I discovered why the Asians remain slim. They just eat boiled vegetables. If they did not touch any food I did not too thinking there may be pork .I enjoyed the event which was very festive and the vegetables .

Happy Harbor is my go-to place for dim sum and I've been coming here for years. I'm from Hong Kong and I'm very picky about my dim sum. I was initially glad to find out about Happy Harbor, which is modeled after the more "modern" and upscale dim sum/seafood restaurants in Hong Kong (no chaos of the ladies pushing dim sum carts; you order from the menu). However, I've noticed the quality of their dim sum going downhill. While it's not bad, I think they have gone a lot heavier on the MSG they put in their food. Now I get thirsty really quickly after getting a meal here. Another point worth mentioning is that they have increased their prices. I definitely don't think you get the quality of the food for what you pay for here.Service is A-OK. One time though, the waiters poured tea for my table, which I thought was rare and surprising.Parking is very hard to find during weekends, due to it being next to 99 Ranch.I guess the bottom line is, if you like the atmosphere (no chaos of dim sum carts) and don't mind paying a bit more, go to Happy Harbor for okay dim sum.

Went here for a friend's birthday and I'd have to say what a place! The dim sum here is really good, they have so many more options that I haven't seen anywhere else particularly anything with shark fin in it. Maybe other places change the name on the menu, but the one that I went to in SF definitely didn't have it.The place is really nice. I've uploaded an image of what the interior looks like. It's a wonderful place to have breakfast or brunch with a group of people since they have enough tables to accommodate large parties. The waiters literally looked like butler's because of their ensemble!Food is great. I enjoyed the more popular dim sum dishes such as the steamed pork and shrimp dumplings, shumai, har gow (yum!), steamed beef noodles, and their baked BBQ pork buns! I LOVED their pork buns because it's baked perfectly with enough honey glaze to compliment the marinated pork! It was ridiculously good! It's so savory that I could only eat it in small bites, but that's quite alright with me cause I chowed down on the other individual bite-sized dishes!Definitely want to try their shark fin entrees/dishes next time....Lina Chen

Tasty dim-sum but at an UNBELIEVABLE PRICE! Come on Happy Harbor, I thought dum-sum was supposed to be cheap. We ordered at most 10 plates of dim-sum plus another regular lunch menu plate and the bill was over $60!When I go to Capital Seafood down the street, at most I will only spend $35 and I leave satisfied (with the food...not the service...lolz).I don't care if the owner has pictures up inside with the President and other celebrities. I'm a tough customer when it comes to dim sum, but when my best friend wants dim sum or whatever she craves, we go get it since she is hardly back home.I chose this place, as the other places in Rowland were chains that were also in the SGV. I anticipated a long wait at 11am on Saturday, but it wasn't bad at all. First impression of the place was that for a Chinese restaurant, it sure looks fancy. We had 7 items total:-Shumai: decent, but don't waste your money on it here. After having so many of these all my life, I can say that were alright.-Chicken's Feet: My favorite so I'm HELLA picky about it. The taste was good here and everything was tender. GET THIS if you like chicken's feet.-Spareribs with rice rolls: My best friend chose this and I wasn't too impressed with it but thought I'd give it a try. Our favorite dish overall. Huge dish of freshly rolled rice rolls and best tasting tender spareribs ever. Great flavor and perfect fatty to skinny spareribs ratio. It is quite oily, which boggles my mind since rice rolls are usually oily when stir-fried with XO sauce and not when steamed. Hmm.-Har Gow: good but not my favorite dish in general-Shrimp Paste Eggplant: Ahhh I love these! Biting into one of these reminded me of Hong Kong except it came with sweet and sour sauce and not as much of a hoisin sauce taste. Great shrimp paste (they were not skimpy on that) and piping hot eggplant with great eggplant taste. Yum!-Seafood Roll: Where to begin. No. You don't make seafood rolls like that. I love mayo, but too heavy on mayo. There are cut-up large scallops, imitation crab and shrimp inside. Also, the outer layer was a bit sweet and had a different crunch to it (don't know how to explain it). I usually like these, but not this time.-Chicken Sticky Rice: Great flavor. Came with a salted egg yolk which gave its flavor to the rice. Meat inside was a bit salty, but rice was pretty perfect. Wasn't too wet nor dry. My best friend disliked the egg yolk inside and we both agreed it was bleached since the color wasn't like the nice moon cake egg yolk colors, but rather... a highlighter yellow color. Not my favorite from here but good taste.Prices were steep for dim sum, but they do offer different varieties of dim sum compared to other places. I might just go for the unique dishes (something as simple as putting spareribs on rice rolls is considered unique as far as dim sum goes in my book) here next time, but coming from SGV, I wouldn't make the drive out specifically for this place. Items were good but not crave-worthy good. A 3.5 for me, but I'm generous with the 4 since I might want to come back for the cheap lobster... $6.99/lb!

Nothing special.4. wannabe high classIf you belong in an upper class society and if you're made of money, by all means, come here if you like. However, if you're money efficient like me, this is not that place! We ordered 9 dishes that barely fed 7 people, but still costed us $172. Holy Cow! We can get 7 dishes and feed 7 people and still have leftovers and expect to pay about $140 on the upper limit at any other chinese restaurant. I'm still thinking of the 3 credit card sized filets of fish that costs $20. That's $7 per filet! and how does that feed seven? each person gets at max 1/2 a fish filet...Ouch that hurts!I don't know what makes this place so special or why they think they're special...maybe it's their picture with obama on the wall that makes them think their presidential class, but i hope they realize not it'll be hard to sustain their business if not many people can afford to eat here.

Good luck finding a parking lot here on a weekend during lunch time. It's packed to the gills with diners and Asian moms doing their grocery shopping. Definitely be prepared to wait for a parking spot. And when you do find a spot, the restaurant will have another line for you to wait in (pro tip: have someone from your party go get a number while you park.)The food here is pretty good although expensive. More expensive than the $2 a plate dim sum meals I'm use to in Monterey Park. There is not cart service during the dim sum service. You order it from a sheet. You can always order more if you want. The dining room is actually smaller than it looks. Maybe a capacity of less than 100 people.I would never come here on my own volition. I wouldn't turn it down if a rich friend or relative is treating me for dim sum, but there are other places about a twenty minute car ride away that are a better bang for your buck.

Contrary to what I'm reading, my family & I actually experienced great customer service (though it was a Sunday night & the restaurant wasn't too packed). They offered to pour us tea and when we ordered fried rice they offered to put it into bowls for us. So service wasn't a problem for us.The restaurant definitely looks "higher class" and the prices are much higher than most other Chinese restaurants, and the quality of the food isn't much better. The food was alright, it does taste slightly under-seasoned so it felt like it was lighter and not so oily, but the portions are WAY SMALL!My family and I have been to a good amount of restaurants and we usually order 5-6 dishes for 7 people and most of the time have leftovers. We are used to Chinese restaurants with big quantities with good prices! Today, we ordered our usually 6 dishes + 1 soup and had to add another dish of noodles and fried rice because we weren't full yet! I was so mad cause we ordered a dish of fried cod and they gave us THREE PIECES on a plate for $19.80!!! For three pieces? Are you kidding me!! That's like $7 per piece...couldn't they have at least given us a 4th piece? The other dishes were fine in taste so they get 2 stars but overpriced for how much is given to you. Like, why is a small plate of salty-fish fried rice $16?? If you want to lose weight, come here because it's definitely good portion control -____-The bill came out to be $155 before tip added. For 7 people. No lobster or shrimp, no steamed fish, and we mostly ordered veggie dishes because we were feeling like a lighter dinner. REALLY? When is Chinese food ever over $20/person and we weren't even FULL, we were just content. That was kind of a deal breaker for me. Probably not gonna come back here. And it's $1.20 per bowl of rice as well. At least they didn't charge us for tea, or I would have screamed.

Dim Sum... and then some more! There are a few dim sum places in Rowland Heights, each of them known for their own unique attributes that can be described as ghetto, dirty, crowded, rude, authentic, etc. ... And while I can write paragraphs about each of those other places and their pros and cons, I'm only going to write about one dim sum place, Happy Harbor.First thing to note, this restaurant looks clean and tidy. As you venture into the restaurant, you see a line of Mafia-esque chairs lined up against the walls of the hallway and of course, the quintessential fish tank area for the kiddies to entertain themselves by looking at the soon-to-be-dinner fish. During weekends it can be pretty busy, as most dim sum spots do, so plan accordingly. The food here is good and they pay attention to garnishing their dim sum plates with things like steamed broccoli and carrots. No one really eats that, but I appreciate it. It shows that they care. (heart)What I like most about this place is that they do not have the food carts strolling by the tables, bumping into chairs. I don't have to talk over the constant noise of the servers lifting open and close the lids of the metal containers every time someone wants to know what's in them. I am sure that I'm committing some kind of dim sum sacrilege by saying this, but dim sum is better without carts. Instead of looking around at all the carts that go by trying to hunt down what I want, I just mark off what I want on a piece of paper, wait for my food items to be served, and have a normal conversation with whoever I'm with without any distractions.Yeah, that's right. We fancy here. How's the service? If I were to sum it up in one word, It's like any other dim sum place I've been to: inattentive. If you're expecting the servers to smile at you, then you've probably never had dim sum before. It is what it is.. as long as they bring me my chili sauce and hot mustard, I'm okay.

Decided to venture out of my normal dim sum spot and try Happy Harbor. From the outside, the restaurant looks small in the 99 ranch plaza, but it's actually pretty spacious inside. The wait on a sunday around 10/11am was about 30-40 minutes even though the hostess kept saying 20 minutes to everyone. I liked that the restaurant doesn't have the ladies that push around the food in carts. You mark what you want and they bring it fresh and steaming hot out of the kitchen for you! The waiters were attentative, fast, and speak cantonese. What I found interesting about this restaurant is that they have a separate pair of black chopsticks in the middle of the table that you can use as the "commuter chopsticks" haha. So for germ-a-phobes out there, you can use that to pick up food onto your plate w/out using your own chopsticks and worrying about getting germies from other ppl's chopsticks! :DAnyway we got about 8 dishes of food that totaled to about $30 which isn't too bad. I highly recommend the usuals such as har gow and shu mai. There is also this awesome looking green bun with some sort of purple filling inside. I wanted to try it just cause it looked so cute, but was too full. The sticky bbq pork buns here are a good size and pretty good. I don't recommend the chiu chow style dumplings though. Another thing is they DO charge for tea so don't be surprised.Overall, pretty solid dim sum place. This restaurant sure does try to be fancy 'cause the restrooms have hand towels and paper towels near the sink as well as chandeliers hanging in the restaurant.

My girlfriend and I had set out a quest to try all the restaurants in/near our neighborhood. So we started our journey months ago and finally began to share the awesome stories that we've got.1st off, we are a huge fan of Dim Sum. To being able to pick from a wide variety of different dishes at a low price is great! Dim Sum is excellent for those who are indecisive. So, if your girlfriend/boyfriend cannot pick a restaurant for your lunch date, go to DIM SUM! While they're waiting to pick, your grubbing away at your favorite dish, oh yeah! This place is an order on menu versus the traditional choose/pick from a push cart. The plus side is that we did not have to wait for our favorite dish, having multiple waiter/waitress asking what do we want, flagging them down (I thought that this was always fun), and picking fights in getting the popular dishes over your starving neighbor 2 tables away! However, we waited 2 hours to be seated, asked for water about ten times, wrongfully ordered few items, wrongfully received some orders, spent twice as much, and still was hungry... Cried, I did for going back to a regular Dim Sum restaurants. My suggestion, unless you know what you really want to order and can read Chinese, do not go here for the first time. Make your Dim Sum experience at a traditional one and stay happy!

This review is for their dinner service on Chinese New year. My aunt made a reservation 2 weeks ahead knowing that the restaurant might get super busy. When we arrived, there was only one table occupied at 5pm. I asked the waiter if we can get seated and he told me to wait for the hostess. After waiting for 5 minutes, I managed to flag down the hostess. She was busy doing something and barely made eye contact with me. After giving me a shrug, I was told to wait AGAIN until the table was table. Excuse me? The restaurant is EMPTY with one table of customers! Our whole family couldn't wait any longer and started to barge into the dining room. The hostess had no choice but to seat us right near the entrance. Since our grandmother had a walker and this object would get in the way with other tables around us, we asked to change our table to the one against the wall. The waiters and hostess gave us a cold snare and with a negative tone of voice said NO. After explaining to the staff about our situation, they reluctantly gave us the other table. At this point, I have no idea as to why every single staff at the restaurant had an attitude with us. Because we're not Chinese? Are they playing a racist card? Not to mention that most of the fresh seafoods were 3x the normal price because we went on a Holiday. Really? You increase your price because it's a Holiday? I also noticed that the live fish in the tank were floating upside down and most looked like they were dying or dead. I used to like Happy Harbor but after this experience, I will NOT be returning. Don't act like you're superior to other races and do your job as a hostess and waiting staff! Very rude and demeaning customer service here. 0 stars! I see why Yelp reviews average them to just 3 stars!

Definitely one of our favorite places for dim sum. The prices are just a tad high than other dim sum places in the area, but the quality of the food is significantly better. We also like the fact that you just order the items off the dim sum menu instead of the old push cart method. I know some people might prefer the authenticity of the push cart method, but I like this way better since all the food comes out at a smoother pace instead of waiting for a certain cart to come around. The service here is fantastic and the servers are always checking on the teapots for refills. Five coworkers and I went to Happy Harbor yesterday around 11:45AM for dim sum, and had another really great experience. Our group was seated immediately in their huge dining room, which was loud and vibrant with conversation. I really like their style of serving at Happy Harbor... There aren't any ladies pushing carts around the tables. Instead, you look at the menu, which has pictures of every item (thankyoujesus), and then write down the quantity of each item on an order sheet. Pretty much like how they do it at a sushi restaurant. I feel like this style of ordering is a guaranteed way to see their whole selection and get exactly what you want from the kitchen. We got a ton of dishes, most notable were the fried chicken knees (don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em), the bbq pork baked buns, pork dumplings (with fish roe on top), and the steamed shrimp dumplings. We got all of those dishes, plus some others, and had a great time sampling them off the center turnstyle. The chinese broccoli is also good, and is always a colorful addition to your order. Watch out for that sauce they serve along-side it, though. Use it sparingly because it is tasty but very salty. Our total bill was $130 ($22 pp) without tip. A little on the expensive side for dim sum, but who cares because it's delicious.Happy Harbor is not too far off its exit from the 60, so it's pretty quick for those who are a little time-pressed during their lunch hour. This wasn't our first time there, and we'll definitely be back!

A little awkward at first meeting the other family, but its amazing what good food can do to unite people. And we're not here to listen to me yammer about potential in-laws, you're here for the food. The Good:Every food item that was ordered was quite savory. From the preliminary soup, to the lobster plate, the lettuce bowls... even the boiled cabbage, which I am usually not a fan of. In particular the red fish dish (that I cannot pronounce) was the highlight of the meal, and will bring me back, should I ever stop by this part of SGV again.the Bad:Not much of a drink selection to go with the food (mind you, not that I know anything about good wines to mix with Chinese seafood dishes) but I would like to enjoy my meal with a little more something that water and tea.the Ugly:The amount of left overs, if that can be called ugly. There was so much good food at great prices that everyone was able to take a box home with small samples of everything (minus the peking duck, which we all happily finished!)

Cleanest and freshest dim sum place around this neighborhood. Wait in a long line, eat lots, pay little, and gluck understanding your server.REVIEW:Decor-typical chinese. round tables (some square) with pink/white linen on top. You have to remain standing inside or you can leave but just make sure you dont miss your number getting called.they gave us a table in a room which was separate from the main dining area. I dont know if it was because they knew we werent chinese but I appreciated the quiet dining better.Service-The waiter was an older male who really couldnt speak a lick of English. However, this did not really matter because you can just point to the picture and just say a number to indicate how many you wanted. They charge for tea... This was probably my only concern.Food-The food was fresh and I really enjoyed that part. You don't wait around for a cart to roll to your spot. This way you order and the food comes piping HOT.Favorites IMO were-Shumai with pork and shrimp fillingCrystal shrimp dumplingsFried pork dumplingsChicken feet (which i got last time and i always get at any dimsum place)Pros:-The food and service was great. I really appreciate the server and him trying his best to understand what we needed.-The food was fresh and did not take too long.Cons:-SUPER long line. BUT you should know that there's usually always a long line for dimsum during weekend lunches.-If you want xiao long bao (XLB) then you have to come earlier. they sell out of these things early on.- Charged us for tea...- the half dead shellfish walking around on top of dead shellfish that they market as fresh seafood. it doesn't bother me but i dont think it poses well for the restaurant to show that. This place is a typical chinese dimsum place. If you're asian then you will most likely understand that good asian food isn't always in ideal places.Wait your turn, sit down, and enjoy the food.I would come back again.

Not a "traditional" style of serving dim sum...meaning no carts to point and choose, but that does not take away from the quality of the food. If you're a dim sum "purist" and love to be served dim sum traditionally, then this isn't the place for you.Ordering dim sum from a menu allows for freshness. Every order was steaming hot. I had some of the beef rolls, which were pretty darn good and not too greasy like other beef rolls I had.The place is quite large, noise level is loud, & servers were friendly. (Surprised?)The best thing about this place is it's pretty darn cheap! So take some friends here (friends who don't know how cheap Asian food can be...probably your non-Asian friends) & impress them by paying for the bill. This isn't the best dim sum I had, but it is definitely worth coming in for.

2.5 stars. This review is strictly for their dim sum and is from a combination of three visits. When I think of dim sum, I think of noisy clattering plates, Chinese ladies yelling at each other in Cantonese, and middle-aged Chinese ladies behind metal carts rolling their eyes at you when you don't order from their cart. But you won't get that here. In fact, you get to order your dim sum items off of a menu and they bring them to you fresh out of the kitchen. Some differences in the menu:-they're missing some of the traditional dessert items, if it matters to you-the pork rib with black bean sauce has no black bean in it. It's still good but tastes a tiny bit different-the steamed chow fun thing with shrimp can be quite overcooked...it's not as good-the baked cha shiu bao doesn't have the expected cha shiu taste...cilantro and green onion? weird. And it has a lot more pastry than meat.Over all, it's just as good as any other normal dim sum places. For 4 people, it came out to $13.50/person after tip.Note about doing the bill:-they watch you like a hawk-if you don't put the tip on the credit card and decide the put cash on the table, explain because they'll ask you about it (yes, rude, I know)Expect for people to be rude and to sit in circular tables uncomfortably close to other circular tables.

I love their dim sum here! The price for dim sum is a little expensive compared to other places around the area but the quality of the food is really good. I usually get:Spring Rolls: They give 4 and you can ask them to cut it in half if you want. It's very crispy and light.Beef Tripe: This is usually the last dish they give out because it takes a while but it's very juicy and a bit spicy.Egg Tarts: They give 3 in one dish so I usually get 2 orders of this since I eat 2 and some of my family members eat 2. It depends when we get it because sometimes it's cold and sometimes it's warm.Sticky Rice: They give 3 good size portion. The portion of the rice and meat is even so it's never one more than the other.Wrapped Rice Noodle with Beef: They give 6 pieces with 2 vegetables on the side. I like the beef more than the shrimp kind. I kind of think the beef is tastier than the shrimp.Ha Gao: The shrimp is good but it tastes the same as other places around the area.Fish and Peanut Porridge: This is a filling dish so it's good to share. This can feed about 4 servings (or 4 people).Beef meatballs: They give 3 but they cut it in half, so 6 pieces. There's some vegetables under it and they give a sauce. Really juicy. There's other dishes I've tried but these are the main ones my family and I usually get. Everything is good but they never have any new items. It seems to be the same all the time.Part of dim sum is their teas. Their teas are good too. I usually get Puerh tea (bolei) because it's a strong tea. The tea gets better and better after every pour. They give a good amount of tea leaves too.The service is ok. They do have a lot of people but sometimes they would forget because they're doing a lot of other things like cleaning the table or getting more tea for other people. Some of the workers here only speak Mandarin and it can be hard if you speak Cantonese because they could get your tea wrong or whatever. The ambiance is nice. The table setting is nice. They now have serving chopsticks (the black chopsticks) just in case if your party doesn't want to use your own chopsticks to get the food. They always have a plate for your tea as well. There's a few tvs around the restaurant. And they also have a few private rooms for a private parties.Overall, I like it here. Good food and good tea.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I feel the immediate need to tell people how HORRIBLE this place was.We went on a holiday night.[Portion]The portion was NOT worth the price at all. Do not order the Korean Beef, based on the server's recommendation. We ordered it and there were barely 8 slices of beef for $8.00+.[Services]Service was HORRIBLE. We had to ask servers more than five times simply for a bowl of rice.[Unreasonable tips/check]WORST OF ALL, at the end, they included 15% tip in the check. When we asked them about the forcefully-added tips (we brought up the fact that we only had three people in the party and even brought up our dissatisfaction of their services), the only answer we got was "oh we add it on holidays. It's for everyone". No further actions were taken. I mean, given it was a holiday, their bad service was understandable. We weren't going to not pay tips, but at least some kind of apology would be nice. My friends were kind enough to not make a big scene out of it, and we ended up unwillingly paying for the unreasonable tips.I've never felt so disrespected going to ANY restaurant. It was my first time here and I will NEVER go back again.

So I actually thought this was Sea Harbor ... but apparently, it formerly was Sea Harbor!SPACETons of tables and lots of dining space. The exterior looks smaller than it actually is.DIM SUMIt's what it's all about. Everything we ordered was really good, fresh, and piping hot. The flour rolls with shrimp and soy sauce is delicious, so is the ha gao, shu mai, steamed dumplings, and veggies. My friend also ordered fried chicken wings, which are surprisingly crispy and yummy.TOFU FLAN WITH GINGEROne of my favorite desserts in Viet cuisine. This is very similar in texture, but a lot more bland than what I am used to in the Viet version.

I'm doing everything I can to stall on this stupid study guide for a midterm I've been slaving over the entire afternoon, so...here I am on Yelp (yes, it's a great distraction).I've raved about Seafood Village on Nogales since I go there the most, but Happy Harbor is a pretty nice place. In terms of food, I'd say they offer very similar fare, but for some reason I feel that Happy Harbor is a few scales up on the luxury factor. The place is straight up ballin, and if you ever get to sit in the room in the very back (which is usually reserved for parties or receptions), you'll feel like a VIP or something because that room is sealed off from the larger, main dining area. The typical dim sum stuff here is all good...the chicken's feet, egg tarts, wrapped steamed rice (zhong zhi), and seafood porridge. I really like the coconut and taro pudding that they have here.Service is pretty good.Like with all dim sum places though, wait times can be horrific during peak hours (lunch on weekends) and holidays.Overall I really enjoy the food here, esp that coconut taro pudding!

The dimsum is pretty good. They have shanghai dumplings here which I've never seen at any other dimsum place before. JUICY DUMPLINGS FROM THE HEAVENS!Why only 4 stars?-No ladies with carts. You're given a menu and then you mark what you want on a sheet of paper. Then they bring it to you. It takes away from the charm of the dimsum experience.-More expensive than most dimsum places. For this much more I'll flag down ladies in carts thank you very much.

I remember when I was 13 years old and I arrived here. I think they have the WORST service of any chinese dim sum restaurant that can exist. Seriously.Fail #1) They argued with my sister to "give them MORE tip" when my sister said she wanted to give them cash rather then writing it on her card, then they went on and said "give cash AND on card" what the freaking hell?Fail #2) Recently went there for a family get together after 8 years of not going there, they gave us two squid dishes instead of shrimp dumpling. Then custard buns burned my little sister and the waiter dropped tea on my brother in law, didn't even apologize and didn't even accommodate us for such a hot mess they were that morning. *flips hair* i'm done.NEVER AGAIN.

4.5 stars.Delicious dim sum overall. Just missed the ladies with the carts. I usually accidentally attack the bus boys too because their carts look like the food carts. I missed that stalking action. You must understand, we are basically creatures of habit. This time was no different, with one little slip, the jelly fish dish with bean curd wrap. I had to try it, but actually, I probably would have been happier with something else in the long run. It is a cold appetizer, something I should have known. $6.36My favorites? The bbq pork baked buns, ($2.68 for 3) and the baked shrimp dumplings, looking somewhat like a mini empanada, but really Chinese-y flavors (3 for $3.98 ). I could have eaten a whole wheelbarrow of these two dishes. We ordered two spare rib dishes, one steamed in an abalone sauce (very good), $2.68, and a second which came with rice noodle in a black bean sauce and a couple of stalks of Chinese broccoli. Good, but unfortunately I was looking for whole black bean, visibly missing. Way too many noodles. $6.36 for this.Ha gow - huge delicately marinaded shrimp, wrapped in a glassy wrapper, then steamed. Excellent. $2.68 for 4.Egg Custard - Wow. Wonderful light crust, delicate custard. $3.98 for 3.Great service. Beautiful dining room. A little more $$ damage than normal for us, but definitely a repeatable kind of place.

I have never been here but the Dim Sum here is excellent !I had my gf (who lives in Hacienda) pick up $20 worth of Har Gow, $20 worth of Siu Mai, and $20 worth of egg tarts. The Har Gow & Siu Mai were $4 an order so I ended up having 20 pieces each of those and a huge foil tray of egg tarts (w/two layers). My family & guest really enjoyed them and noticed that the Dim Sum was really premium. The shrimp was fresh & huge & the pork dumplings had fish roe on them (a high end touch for dim sum) :pI can't wait to come back and dine in the restaurant ...

Dim Sum, made to order. No waiting for the cart. No hoping that when the cart reaches your table, that what you want is still there. You order it. They bring it. You eat it.As of this review, I don't know how much each dish was, but a friend and I shared 7 dishes and we didn't hit the $30 mark (including tax), which is the minimum for a credit/debit card transaction. Thankfully, I had some cash on me otherwise, I might have had to order more food - even after already being full.Service was awesome. With enough staff wandering the dining areas, plates were cleared, water and tea refilled as well as just a presence when questions needed answers.Food was great. Serving sizes just right for the price, or whatever it was that was charged (see above). Dishes were served nice and hot and we enjoyed each dish that we ordered. The downside: it's location. Finding parking can be a pain, which it was around lunch time on a Saturday afternoon.
